Just one week ago, we convened an ad hoc SMC meeting. In preparation, our Federation-UNISERV, unanimously agreed that I, as President of the UNFSU, would deliver a joint statement on one of the most pressing issues before us: Roster Membership.
During the discussions, every staff federation and union stood united in support of our shared position, firmly opposing management’s unilateral decision to implement the new staff selection policy.
We are collectively challenging this unfair and unlawful move to remove staff from the Roster. This is not only about a policy, it is about protecting your rights, your careers, and the fairness of our system.
I want to extend my sincere gratitude to all of you who have shared your experiences, perspectives, and advice on this matter. Your voices have strengthened our case, and your solidarity has made it clear: We stand together.
Please be assured that I will continue to remain steadfast, constructive, and committed as we navigate this challenge. Together, we will defend what is right and protect the principles that matter to all staff.
