UNISERV Statement at the Opening of the 100th session of the ICSC

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

We are currently attending the 100th session of the International Civil Service Commission (ICSC), where all Staff Unions and Federations are fully represented.

We will be holding our next Global Town Hall Meeting on 12 August at 2:00 PM (Rome Time).
This session will provide a comprehensive update on the outcome of the 100th ICSC meeting, the ongoing liquidity crisis, current budget cuts, and the status of the UN80 initiative.

We would like to draw your attention to the statement delivered by UNISERV at the opening of the session. This statement outlines the unified position of the UNISERV Executive regarding the ICSC, particularly in the context of ongoing liquidity challenges, budget cuts, cost-reduction efforts, and increasing pressure for efficiency reforms. As a reminder, the UNFSU is a member of the UNISERV Staff Federation.

The full statement is available on the UNISERV website: https://uniserv-federation.com/2025/07/30/uniserv-statement-opening-of-the-100th-session-of-the-icsc/

We fully recognize the anxiety and frustration caused by the lack of transparency from management, which has unfortunately led to speculation and misinformation. Please rest assured that the UNFSU Executive remains committed to engaging constructively and providing you with accurate, timely, and reliable updates.

Thank you for your continued trust in the UNFSU Executive. We remain steadfast in our commitment to represent you effectively, and  with collective effort and resilience, we will navigate these challenges that will help bring the situation under control.
